Glamoureyes digi

Fabulous Glamoureyes have released another digi (also available in stamp form).  So, I just had to have a go at colouring it and making a card.  You can order from; .  or come and join the facebook group and get all the information about releases first. .  Well here is my DT card using the fantastic 'strength' digi and sentiment.

For this card I started off by using an 8x8 blank card, added some black basic card, then grey line paper from Creata, and then embossed some Creata mirror card to go on top.  I layered the toppers in similar fashion and coloured using pro-markers.  The embellishments were made using basic black card and Creata dies.

The Creata products used are available from Creata direct;  or from create and craft tv;  .  I hope this card will inspire you to visit the Glamoureyes shop, where you can also get personalized stamps made,, whether it be from a photograph or a 'handmade by ' stamp x

Well, here is my DT card for the paper-piecing challenge.

For my card I have used papers from an old Kanban kit.  Unfortunately it is no longer in print.  I have started by putting some mirror card onto an 8x8 scalloped blank card.  Then the papers have been cut into four sections and added, a fine marker has been used to add the faux stitching effect.
The digi was printed onto some 'colour me' smooth white card and coloured in pro-markers.  The blouse and the trousers have been made using the piecing effect, and using the papers as shown in the background.  A greeting has been layered onto mirror card.
The flowers are made from stamps and have simply been cut out and layered up. Flourishes and a butterfly made with the mirror card finish off the look.
